We hand dyed cotton in an Indigo dye bath using the Japanese folding method of Arashi. By scrunching the fabric around a wide tube, we were able to get this beautiful striping pattern that has the typical reed-like appearance. Even when the technique is repeated, each time results in a unique pattern.
