It all started with a fascination for cool rocks. Like most jewelers, our founder Ileana Figueroa, started her love for jewelry and gemstones from a young age. This love grew and led her to New York to complete her GIA Graduate Gemologist degree while roaming the streets of the Diamond District. She learned the ins and outs of creating jewelry through the lost wax process and CAD design. This led her to Tennessee where she honed her bench skills to complete her Graduate Jewelers Bench certificate. Now with work experience on both east and west coasts, Tempest Fine Jewelry is her creative passion.
